Can we design a concept of profitability out of peace?
Of the many concepts of peace that have been discussed, one
that seems to be avoided is can we make peace profitable?
I mean it would seem that our economy, our media and now
even our social media has become a effort to develop some kind of income or
profit from negativities. From the hall of our Governments come this fear and
military might contest, of who can spend more on an item that kills, knowing
the only benefactor of war the war industry. To the newspapers and television
news casts where, what injury was done by whom and how much its going to cost
to clean it up, or blow it up.
Can mankind break the chains of negativity and find a way in
which peace can be profitable?
Another wonderful thought of this is what would a investor
invest in to achieve peace?
Man uses the market place for both needs and values like
entertainment in his desire to find his personal concept of prosperity, what
item in at the market place concisely or positively displays the values of
peace, they are there like, the bakery who bakes bread and gives yesterday’s
leftovers to the poor, or gives thirteen doughnuts from the price of twelve.
Yet when we look at mankind’s developments the primary
reason for advancements has been War or the fear there of, for sure our
Government out spend one-sidedly preferring to buy a tank than invest in the
bakery, It is like if the thing doesn’t go boom and kill something it has
little value to them. Yet do they claim this is in peace.
I would like to see a Government spend a dollar on a flower
for each dollar spent on a bullet, they could send the out and achieve the same
attention, just a different result.
I was always taught you can build peace with your own hands,
it does have stepping stones or milestones of things to achieve, but it is doable.
Truly think about it, I bet there are farms who are drooling at the chance to
actually sell their wheat to people who may starve without that wheat.
So a question is upon my mind; Can I find prosperity in
peace?
Or if you are stuck in the negativity, show me where there
is a value in peace for a gun, a bomb, or even a fight.
