It is about the Kids after all or is it?

A question floated a crossed my thoughts this morning, I started to wonder if censorship was a concern, well the first rather quick thought was I live in a democracy, where you can freely say something, to which I can. Then I stepped away grabbed a cup of coffee and set down to look at why Censorship, why the word, why the feeling.

 

Well it was pretty quick I was reminded of Social Networks, you know the friends, networks, jobs, events, the groups of people, and how really easy the thoughts are “hey” this is my page, my friends, my likes, my business associates, my groups, kind of cool really a place where I can Say something. 

 

Censorship is a word that opposes the word Freedom, a antonym, kind of like it gets its meaning from what it opposes, or it is mostly used that way at least. 

 

Social media absolutely avoid Censorship both in Policy and actions keeping their remarks and actions a long the lines of decency and manors, reminding everyone of that in the users agreements and site help forums, list upon list of FAQ’s , reminding people its like a party, act nice and no one will send you home.

 

Then I started to think real hard about my likes, it would seem my likes are a bit different, maybe because what I do, you know the photographer thing, the artist thing, the musician thing, the writing thing. It has be, it’s me. Every once in while I have something to SAY.

 

No Child Should Die by a Weapon of War, well I mean it is kind of moral isn’t it, protecting kids, stopping children from getting harmed by bombs dropping, or tank shells, missiles, or even Machine guns, you know  it is the kids. One would figure others would agree to the idea.

 

Until you point out the Why Kids Die in War, it is War which is the highest way of disagreement the last option of actions, not over dollars but over lives and effects it causes to the lives of others. It is the killing of one’s adversary. Over the history of humanity technology gained from war or to use in war has brought humanity to the very brink of the abilities to extinguish human life itself.

 

Now I would expect to get a negative comment or two about my views on Nudity in Art, I think it is beautiful and I really like where it is placed slightly off center in Museums and Galleries, where an adult may look if they so choose, on the Art. Well that topic wow look out, boy do they solicit someone else’s opinion.  However the grand scope of life it is just someone’s opinion of like or not. Please let us not go down the road with this one. It is a point of great discussion.

 

Back to those Social Networking sites and that like thing, that little thumb’s up icon at the bottom of the page, that is placed right next to, where You can SAY something.

 

Why would people not like the idea of saving kids, I mean I can understand arguing over the War but why over protecting the kids, the reason becomes super clear because it me.

Why else would some one want to argue a point of reason for War. I mean War is Horrible and these new weapons these new abilities they kill right? Social Networks have the solution there as well, don’t be rude. It is an argument right.

 

Then it all comes down to those like and dislikes, it is a argument on social media you can simply bow out and leave. Ah but there is another option on Social media just for arguments, that sometimes anonymous Report button, that ability to Block someone, even the moderation comes down to selfish views and stopping another from, well having something to SAY.

 

So what is it that I am saying that would possibly be causing some one to block, report, moderate, and delete, something that everyone finds as Horrid?

 

It is the Weapons, it is not that Children Die in War, it is the money and what weapons means, someone out there doesn’t like the fact that it is weapons that cause the deaths of children, and if we did not have them, we would try to argue some other way, like maybe in court. You see we have this view that it is weapons and war that is going to fix arguments, but beyond the reason of War, it all comes down to those weapons of War.

 

See people would never argue over the right or wrongs of children dyeing even if the result of a War, it is something we do not argue about, its kids, their deaths are wrong.

 

So the only reason someone would argue then is for or about the Weapons, I mean they do give us security right? They are for defense right, they are made by some one who makes profit off them right?

 

Could it be that the ability of Censorship has been given to some one who would oppose Children Dying? Or would it be that Censorship has been given to some one who opposes Weapons?

 

Then it all came to down to single pointed thought, it is not about some thing you SAY. It has to be about Me, it has to be, for other wise it is not the constitution of America that these Weapons profiteer’s want, It is the Bill of Rights.  Their ability to convince the masses that your Security is based of this outrageous new aircraft carrier, or airplane, and why not they got you to invest in it, they even offered you stock options, or a thousand new Spy companies, with stock and even fantastic returns, you see they even got you believing there is profit in weapons. 

 

Problem is you got to use weapons or there is no return on the investment.

 

They have a solution for that too, Arm some Rebels.

 

Now I know that Thomas Paine might argue the value of a God and in his time made reason for his argument. I just as I might wonder what we have replaced God with. See he deuced the neutrality of God, or left one to do so.  It is an Argument.

 

I know my views of the horrors of Wars are shared, I know others are wondering why we have so much War, I know every one can explain a reason of War, and how humanity is or is not about War.

 

I know the values of Social Networking and gaining others of like mind and social circles, I mean they are the Party going one right now, so why the Censorship, the deleting, the Anonymous reporting? Can it be Weapons or Me?

 

It has to be Me!

 

It has to be what and how I am saying that, What we as Humanity are doing right now is WRONG! Arming and selling weapons and find excuses to use them, how horrific they are and worse still how horrific the profit from them must feel to the person whose gain is the profit from such things.

 

Of coarse you might find that upsetting.

 

It is about the Kids after all or is it?
