To learn from our mistakes

Would it be that we learned from our mistakes….

A day before the election not the last thing said I am sure, however a point needs to brought back to forefront of our minds.

We have made mistakes, there are two major mistakes that we need to address and both are Wars, The Policy Wars of the Drug War and the Terror War, they are policy wars, for there will always be another drug dealer criminal, as there will always be a rebel of a government.

These are social Wars, Wars based of the social wants and desires of fear. Fear of these social issues like poverty, like drug abuse. Being played out as a security issue, they are filled with the mistake of discriminations of other nations, or other beliefs, of minorities, they are not about democracy, they are not about helping build a better society.

In truth they are about just one single thing, how to keep the spending on Weaponry at the increases of the Cold War.

They are not about Spies nor about Intelligence gathering, they are not about bringing criminals to justice, they are not about stopping aggressions, for in each of these policy Wars is proof otherwise, as well as the years of not providing those very things of our security.

It would be so very nice to hear a voice humbled by admission on these issues, Alas is the ego of the Leaders, to never admit to a mistake but instead blame it upon another as if child like.

It is these two Wars that holds both our economy and our own well being at stake, they drive us into larger and larger debit, they project nothing but Ill-Will, and the return is nothing but Ill-Will.

Would it be that America request both these Wars cease, and for the first time in years develop a department of PEACE equally as funded as the department of defense, so that America can step beyond these Policies and step into a leadership of PEACE.

Humility is not something that media addresses as a character assets of a Leader, however it is one you can use to address this by Vote.
