The Angle and I

Take the sword from my hand oh Michael the protector of the children of a land I once walked, tell me now as you can see I am unarmed unlike you, if you have come here to collect a soul then let it be mine, least you say I have no right to stand to this fight. Unarm yourself Michael and then we will talk.

If this is done I have questions of you and I am sure you of me, yet I can only assume you and I could have this fight, this thought may just take me into the night, first of me or first of you we could flip the coin of fate, or if you prefer we could stand at the pearly gate, either would lead to the first assumption.

You protect kids this is what is said of you, and I am but a father so on this ground do we relate. Yet for my sake I have to admit, of a few small things to which should be given a handicap. First while of coarse is the fact that I am human, and rather a simple man, I am prone to faults but of those I claim I can make a stand, though not perfect nor a near reflection of you, enough if you allow me the excuse of this thought to put you and I together. I know that is bold but you and I know something of each other, and yes we do relate on another, if you will another point of interest at least to me should this conversation actually occur.

You see Michael I am unarmed,

Do you know what this means Michael to you and I, I can only assume that you would, that the curse if you will, of the twin cities that once were, your hand is stilled if will at least until I am no more, yes Michael it is held. For we can find at least one thus our fight has yet to begun.

You see Michael I am unarmed.

I know you know Michael I am not without a sin, this a truth of which I will not deny, oh Michael to each and everyone, I have done what I have done of this you are sure, this too is a promise of which has been fulfilled.

You see Michael I am unarmed.

So Michael this means that you and I can actually have this little chat, I herd this of you also, that you can carry the thoughts and prayers of many, that you can intercede for the needy. On this Michael your hand is not held, I was wondering as I would if this was to really come to pass if that this is the moment were I would come to pass.

What stays your hand Michael why have you not stepped forth, to help the seeds of the many, Michael what stays your hand.

You see Michael I am unarmed,

Does your sword not weigh so, that you would wish to set it aside, I did try to set mine aside so long ago I may actually have forgotten where I put such a thing, they are a bit dangerous around those kids you know, which as you know I started long ago.

You see Michael I am unarmed,

You know what is said of me oh Michael of this I am sure, I will not stand aside and watch, I just can not, I have before as you well know stood for another, even have stayed a hand, or at least an unkind word.

I know that price Michael I know it well, while you have held you anger and your temper I have failed in those, yet  I can stand and tell the tale, but of this you know Michael of this I am sure, for Michael I was too a child once. What stays your hand Michael.

You see Michael I am unarmed.
