Karen LaGreca “There
is much to fix Chas. Pointing out the areas where deliberate ,obvious wrong
doings are taking place daily is just the beginning. Our thoughts must turn to
action. We must speak for those who have no voice. Facing the reality of the
huge dysfunction on how we humans treat each other. This under taking for peace
is daunting. You are so right. There is no reason for any one to be hungry. In
so many places hunger is used as a weapon and it kills the most innocent and
helpless. These men and women in power should live with sleepless nights and
haunted cries till they awake with a sense of justice and compassion.
Today is a day to pray for peace, for justice, for rehabilitation. Today is a day to help someone you don't know with a gesture of kindness and love. Be silent in your action speak volumes in making a difference. Feel good within yourself and share the word.”

Dearest Karen, how sweet these words were to hear; yes it is
so true a daunting task it is to save a life of someone you know not, from a
fate so horrifying as dying due to the lack of love and human compassion.
Clearly there can be no excuse for such to be happening in a
age so blessed with technology and science of wonder, no other shame can
humanity bear than the belief of security protecting a child be after the have
spent billions on war so much so the very cry of the child called hypocritical
and liberal, that they would silence that child is already apparent.
If they were not to be spending these billions on war, think
for a moment how what those billions could do for health and investments in
prolonging human life, what would be the returns if that billions were to be
spent on educations and the developments of new technologies delivered through out
the world. What then would be humanities shame?
I do not have a dream of utopia unachievable nor unattainable,
I have a dream that a child any child should have a right to love, a right to a
home, a right to a better life, there is not a boarder, no line as pure, no line
as the most justified as saving a child’s life. It doesn’t say whose child, it
says a child, any child, every child.
Alas it is the reason I find so much contempt in my follow
man.
