Ebola and Budget Cuts

The latest call came Thursday from House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi, who demanded that lawmakers return to session to revisit the budget.

 

 “The Appropriations Committee should return to Washington immediately and convene hearings to discuss and debate the issue of funding levels for NIH, CDC and related agencies in light of the public health challenges posed by the Ebola virus,” she said in a statement.

 

Others have suggested Republicans specifically are to blame for problems with the Ebola response. Well every committee chair on the Appropriations committee is REPUBLICAN….Tell me I am wrong.

 

Well Mike it is kind of hard to say your not responsible, while the CDC NIH received flat budgets at best is minor updates since you took Part of the Appropriations committee, you remember HR 5013, HR 4870, HR 4681, HR3301, HJ Res 76, Emergency Supplemental Appropriations Resolution 2014, HJ Res 124  now public Law 113-164 were we are arming Vetted Rebels in case you forgot any of these here is the link to go remind yourself, https://www.govtrack.us/

 

Too bad Nancy Pelosi forgot she voted on these two, they passed she is as much at fault.

 

That is another reason they all need to go!
