Broken record

I am laughing when I say this, Chas....I think you should watch and read LESS news...LMAO

By Pamela Hope DeLuca-Price

LOL Pamela, when I was young I was too busy trying gain fortune and fame for the news of the world, now that I understand prosperity, I want mine to last. I have watched in horror as my income has become non excitant, mine is based on your purchasing a luxury, if most of World is unemployed or doesn’t make enough to meet the monthly obligations, they do not buy my works. I wanted to know why.

What I found was shocking to say the best about it.

Ok I am not an economist so bare with me.

When started my business in the late 70s, I didn’t even call it a business I found that really it never matters what I do, it involves art. I am not bad at some of it, I made a living on it all the same.

80’s 90’s 2000 and the crashes. I mean my gosh what about every seven years something happed to shorten the income, working more, selling more, but making less each time, each time I would stick my head up and look around check my competitors, check other artists, and try the something new that came along to change my day.

Well the 09, 10, 11, 12, 13 the really bad adjustments ( I like this word for this adjustments.) sent packing fifteen of my competitors and I teeter at the brink daily living hand to mouth. I wanted to know why. Why is everyone in the world broke.

Remember those things called small businesses, the people who would bring something to market etch out a living doing so, 80 percent are gone, and the replacement rate after 5 years of business is not there its missing, some died the technology death, unable to adapt they died, some died the out source death were a competitor just killed them, but most died the replacement death of chain stores, some were killed by the corporations that expanded into larger sections of industry. This was here only or so they said.

I started to ask what is the same here as Athens, Paris, Rome, Frankfurt, Moscow, Tokyo, Singapore, Deli I mean what is the common factor, what is killing the small businesses what is killing the economy.

So who are the banks loaning to, who is the sure thing, what item do they loan the most for, it became a reflection over and over again. The sure thing was is weapons, from personal to country weapons are the bankers best bet.

So looking at these major income providers which looks good, maybe I should draw for them or take a photo or two. They showed the way for corporations, the joining of businesses to achieve a higher dollar amount of gain, the Johnson affect of greed to be shared by fewer people, remember share holder only gets a percentage of profit. Nice investment in the board’s vacation homes.

It was only a matter of time before an insurer from destruction became mandated, that the banks over inflated your home, and the country went broke.

You can not spend 10,000 to 1 on something you are not going to use, repeatedly year after year, you can not barrow trillions of dollars on a bad investment. You have to make something happen.

In this day and age where information is easy enough to grab, that the where and why can be a line drawn to who, I hope this year, this one differs, so far well its only getting started. For the first time what your senator, governor, President, King is doing you can match the line to the greed and put that information in front of millions. For the first time our leaders are struggling to hide information, or manipulate it. Its kind of hard when you have the flipping check book in your hand.

This sure bet by the banks is that a bomb will fall from the sky, that someone will die, that the answer is more bombs to fall from the sky that more will die. Remember a road side bomb doesn’t know it kills a child, a landmine doesn’t know it is a child that set it off. These are wholesaled by our governments to someone who will use it, this is the bread and butter of our economy. What is the product, what is its use.

No child should every die by a weapon of war.

Who can afford a luxury of war, I find no art in it. I do not really like despair so I thought I would share what I learned.

I thought at first maybe I was the only one to see this, then I started to listen again to others I found many people asking the same questions as to why we are not recovering, why does things not turn around, why is our direction always less.

JFK asked what you could do, Marten Luther King Jr, showed us a dream, they believed we could change, they believed that each of us has a worth to the next, that each should do what he can to make it better for the next.

I do not think that is lost, I think you can not see it, I think you do not hear it. I think our governments officials forgot this in their struggle to gain. The yoke of change has always been on the people no matter the government. To cast off the burden one must cast off the lie, the people do matter to the governments it is time those governments remember this.

A government job is stewardship, equally investing in today and tomorrow, not just protecting, securing or fighting. I live in America where people are to be running the government, where people can change it.

To dream of a better place, a better way of life for the next takes courage, what more fear can you have of governments desire to use the tools it has purchased, what more does it take or will it take before the courage to so something better comes to fruit.

When will you buy that luxury to hang above your mantle? When are you going to enjoy a life of prosperity without hurt of another, without selfishness without envy, when will you look to the next and what you give them.

Sorry if I sound like a broken record stuck on repeat.
