After the post of this morning

After writing the peace this morning I went to read the news, I followed up to 2:30 pm. Then I sat in wonder of it all, maybe the reasons for it all. Here is what I found as the day began and wore on.

Federal Courts No-fly list violated constitutional rights, an interesting piece that explains well about the value of rights given to the accused. A perfect reflection of the Patriot Act.

In Arizona, officials are looking at all options in the immigration surge, a wonderful point could be made if they named these children correctly, we are having a mass surge in refuges from the Drug War.

The threat was ignored? An intelligence official is claiming that multiple warnings were given on ISIS or ISIL, due to a simple question someone wants accountabilities over our non-action to those reports. I could make many points about this, however the best one is a timing issue, you see while this mass insurgent take over Iraq was happening our Defense, and Intelligence budgets were being quickly discussed and approved while we looked at the weapons we left, and the obvious incompetence of intelligences gathering these two government agencies just displayed.

There was the IRS and those missing emails, you know I once had a computer crash, the network administrator was able to provide all of my emails off of the backs ups of the servers, all 58,392 emails all nice and neat in my inbox the next day. I know this was provided by a company that is in business of providing the service of email delivery, but one does now wonder how much of what they are doing is actually a value of the numbers that represent my dollars in taxes contained on those same servers.

Our advisors finally are on the ground in Iraq.

And last was this nice little Highway Bill of 9 billion dollars, to which I am sure you feel was a lot of money, but let me help you here that doesn’t even come close to the expense of outfitting a new aircraft carrier with brand new planes, just the planes not the helicopters, not men, not fuel, not the food, just the planes, a reflection of that defense bills 2.7 trillion request.

I ask again about that feeling that things seems to be some how wrong over all, you see as I write this, the playground is filled with kids, playing and laughing having fun in the summer heat enjoying a water slide.

You see there are parents watching this event from all over the world; they are teaching their children the values of sharing, of playing, of being nice, being respectful, taking turns and helping each other. I think this is something shared all over the world, that parents teach their children to share and play nice, I think that this is done in China, Russia, Syria, Iraq, Iran, India, Pakistan, you see I think this is done all over the world as what is reflected in my back yard.

It is a shame that our governments want to give them a gun as soon as they are adults. It is a shame that our governments teach them how to kill. It is a shame that the reason of all of this horror of news comes down to what our governments want us to do. It is a shame that they will spend more on weapons and on war than they will on our children.

I a not sure I want to agree to those things.

No Child Should Die by a Weapon of War.
