Obama Asks Congress To Back $1 Billion Effort To Boost U.S. Military Presence In Europe

WARSAW, Poland (AP) — President Barack Obama announced Tuesday that the United States plans to boost its military presence in Europe as tensions simmer in the region over Russia's actions in Ukraine.

Standing next to Polish President Bronislaw Komorowski, Obama said the U.S. would rotate more American troops into the region and called on Congress to provide up to $1 billion to support the effort.

 

How dare you, Turn and ask for another Billion dollars for weapons and military might, knowing full well that the budget for such things already out does every other Nation on the Planet.

 

What have you forgotten that we spent 11.1 trillion on these issues this year a lone, how much more can you possibly need, you have already indebted the Nation for such things and have for YEARS non stop spent and spent more and more, used fear and flat out manipulations and lies, though the cold war to now how many times have we seen an issue like this raise itself up to which the only solution is more weaponry. Have you no value of the idea of what you are requesting not Congress but the people of America to pay for.

 

Every single Congressman, Senator and even you Mr. President have done nothing but produce issue after issue to which you show no more concern human life than has if it were but a penny, You stand there and say “yes” our Government is expensive, that the cost of running it and supporting it continues to increase all very true, yet at each and every opportunity to manufacture or produce war arms you will write a blank check, you will out spend each and every time each and every budget of this nation and the FACT THE ARMMORMENT BUDGET is more than a 1000 times the total of all other government functions, and you have the courage to ask for more.

 

For SIXTY years that budget has seen little control or over sight, it has been found to be littered with duplications of service and items, beyond all bounds.

 

Where is your human dignity to compare a fear over someone else’s discontent that the only discussed option is to increase weapons of WAR.

 

This truly shows how clearly this issue is filled with corruptions on both sides of the present political system, to try to attempt to control another nations resources has indebted that Nations People to each government and now ours, to what value is that resource a profit to them or us if the expense is so great as to place a weapon of war to secure it. The fact that these resources help in the production of more weapons by contracts to these nations of control only leaves the people there and by your request here even further into the contempt of human life.

 

Who does run your DESK sir, what Contract are you fulfilling, what obligation too whom for what amount of money can you rationalize such an alliance to what industry, WHOM does this profit?
