Where did we go wrong?
In our efforts to confront terrorist, arm counties to stop
terror, spend 2.7 trillion dollars in efforts to harm terrorist, did we forget
the reasons we became a nation?
When we look to what we have accomplished to the things we
have yet to achieve, did we forget what happens to people when a country is at
War?
Did we forget that for every use of a Tank a family becomes
homeless?
Did we forget the children of the world when we decided to
fight a Global War on Terror, to ask yourself a question of moral and of values
I ask that the question be about the responsibilities to humanity.
To what value is a new Tank, or even a plane or a gun if
that is only creating refugees, to what value does coming to America have,
what value is democracy if the result is children facing horrors again and
again.
What is the reasons we fight this war if we know, that our
policy is a reason for pain for children world over, 50 million people have no
home no country, no way to support the ideals of freedom, if they have no place
to sleep or no place in which to cook a meal.
This War is wrong, when we set knowing that we are building
a new Aircraft Carrier the USS Gerald Ford costs an estimated 12.8 billion and
another 4.7 billion in R&D. Just this one expense just one weapon they have
approved and started to build, 17.5
billion, in just this one expense, we have 10 fully functioning aircraft
carriers, and one to be commissioned in this fiscal year, to bring that number
to 11. Just one of the new f32 war plane costs us to build 13 million dollars,
just one. One M1 Abrams Tank cost us to build 8.58 million dollars, just one
tank, just to build no operate, these numbers are just the cost to manufacture
these items.
There is 50 million refuges of Wars, what did we miss our
responsibilities to the families the responsibilities to children of the world.
50 million if they we were to place them in a country all to their own it would
be the 24th largest country by population. That is 30% of the
population of America
in need of a place to call home.
We spent 407 billion on Homeland Security this year a lone,
we spent 608 billion in defense this year a lone. What did we leave in our wake
of horror fighting horrors?
Children.
If this is what you think America
is about, if this is what our allies think America
is about, this is what our enemies think America is all about.
No Child Should Die by a Weapon of War.
